Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center seeks a Business Analyst for Revenue Cycle/BAR to manage patient accounts post-service, including billing, claims management, denials, and A/R follow-up. You will leverage MEDITECH EHR and PA/RCG tools to ensure accurate submissions and timely collections.

You will collaborate with Registration, HIM/Coding, Case Management, Clinical Operations, and Patient Financial Services to resolve billing issues impacting reimbursement and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• 5 years of healthcare billing, accounts receivable, patient financial services, or revenue cycle experience.
• Experience with hospital billing, professional billing, or both.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and managed care reimbursement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Billing and Claims Management: review, edit, and process claims using MEDITECH Patient Accounting and Revenue Cycle applications.
• Accounts Receivable Follow-Up: manage A/R, investigate unpaid/denied claims, submit appeals with documentation.
• Revenue Integrity and Optimization: monitor reimbursement variances, analyze denial trends, support KPIs and process improvements.
• MEDITECH System Responsibilities: serve as SME for MEDITECH workflows, assist with testing, upgrades, and training.
