Job summary

Staffingine LLC is seeking an IT Applications Systems Specialist to lead Meditech Expanse EMR initiatives and provide daily system support. The role focuses on ownership, updates, user assistance, and incident management within the IT department.

The candidate will coordinate upgrades, train users, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with clinical and operational teams to optimize workflows and system performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of acute and/or Ambulatory Meditech Expanse EHR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Health Sciences/Information Systems/Information Technology/Healthcare Administration/Business Administration or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide product ownership and senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Meditech Expanse EMR.
• Provide daily support for application systems focusing on Meditech Expanse, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
• Coordinate and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades for all relevant application systems.
• Provide utilization training on EMR standards for providers and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage and resolve system incidents, escalating issues to vendors as necessary to maintain uptime.
