Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Systems Specialist with strong expertise in Meditech Expanse Electronic Health Records (EHR) to support and optimize clinical and administrative applications in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application ownership and advanced support for Meditech Expanse EMR.
• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve application support requests.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and updates.
• Train physicians and healthcare professionals on EMR functionality.
• Support application testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to improve workflows and system performance.
• Maintain clinical data accuracy and support application integrations.
• Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Meditech Expanse EHR experience in acute care and/or ambulatory healthcare settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, IT, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.
• Experience providing EMR support and training to physicians and clinical staff.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
