Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a Meditech Consultant to help healthcare clients enhance their EHR capabilities, improve care delivery, and increase profitability. You will work with clinical and administrative teams to map workflows, design system changes, and deliver technical solutions across ambulatory settings.

Position requires at least 3 years in healthcare consulting, strong communication, and PMP-leaning project management. Travel around 75% and US work authorization are expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Meditech's Clinical Ambulatory to optimise patient flows and bed tracking; analyse resource utilisation; improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clinical/administrative teams to understand throughput/workflow changes.
  • Identify improvements and design workflows to enhance efficiency and patient care.
  • Proficiency in Meditech Clinical Ambulatory system build, testing, training, configuration and support.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Previous consulting experience in ambulatory healthcare.
  • Excellent communication to present findings and recommendations.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.
  • Strong project management skills; PMP a plus.
  • RN Certification preferr Travel required (75%).
  • Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.

As a Meditech Consultant, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability.

Role Responsibilities
  • Partner with healthcare clients and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of their Meditech EHR system
  • Collaborate with a team of consulting professionals to deliver technical solutions to our healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and regulatory requirements
  • Provide insights on system workflows, upgrades, system changes and ongoing maintenance while identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements
  • Facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently to stakeholders of all levels through the development of clear agendas and objectives, documenting notes and ensuring follow‑ups are tracked and completed
Requirements
  • Experienced in using Meditech's Clinical Ambulatory solution to optimise patient flows and bed tracking, analyse resource utilisation and looking at ways to improve operational efficiency
  • Comfortable collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to understand current workflows related to throughput and patient bed placement
  • Can identify areas for improvement and design system workflows that enhance efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve patient care
  • Proficiency in Meditech Clinical Ambulatory system build, testing, training, configuration and support.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Previous consulting experience in an ambulatory, healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, PMP a plus.
  • RN Certification is preferr Travel required (75%).
  • Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.

The estimated base salary range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The rate range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
