Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. seeks a Consultant level Epic Senior Consultant to optimize Epic Revenue Cycle workflows for healthcare clients. You will design specs, test builds, and work with client IT teams in a remote environment to improve care delivery and profitability.

Must have Epic Prelude and hands-on Epic RTE experience, plus certifications such as Epic Referrals, Grand Central or Cadence. Travel up to 25% is expected, with strong compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support Epic Revenue Cycle workflow and system configuration optimization.
• Complete and/or develop specifications for Epic build and testing activities.
• Optimize Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), including query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping.
• Support ASA table / Auto Status Assignment optimization for referrals.
• Assist with registration, authorization, and front-end workflow enhancements and automation.
• Optimize patient and referral workqueues and related Revenue Cycle processes.
• Partner with client IT teams to support implementation and testing.

Compensation

The estimated base hourly rate for Epic Senior Consultants varies based on experience, project engagement and client expectations. The actual rate paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
