Job summary

Huron is looking for a Meditech Consultant to enhance healthcare organizations' EHR systems. You will partner with clients, delivering tailored technical solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include optimizing workflows and collaborating with stakeholders across the healthcare spectrum. Essential qualifications include experience with Meditech's Clinical Ambulatory solution, strong communication skills, and project management capabilities. RN Certification is preferred, and this position requires up to 75% travel.

As a Meditech Consultant, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability.

As The Meditech Solution Consultant, You Will

• Partner with healthcare clients and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of their Meditech EHR system
• Collaborate with a team of consulting professionals to deliver technical solutions to our healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and regulatory requirements
• Provide insights on system workflows, upgrades, system changes and ongoing maintenance while identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements
• Facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently with stakeholders at all levels through the development of clear agendas and objectives, documenting notes and ensuring follow‑ups are tracked and completed

Requirements

• Experienced in using Meditech’s Clinical Ambulatory solution to optimize patient flows and bed tracking, analyze resource utilization and looking at ways to improve operational efficiency
• Comfortable collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to understand current workflows related to throughput and patient bed placement
• Can identify areas for improvement and design system workflows that enhance efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve patient care
• Proficiency in Meditech Clinical Ambulatory system build, testing, training, configuration and support.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Previous consulting experience in an ambulatory, healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, PMP a plus.
• RN Certification is preferr
• Travel required (75%).
• Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.

The estimated base salary range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The rate range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
