Job summary

Ivy Park at Burbank is actively seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with medication administration and daily care. Training is provided; prior experience is helpful but not required. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate service in a senior living setting.

The position offers part-time and full-time shifts, including AM, PM, and NOC, with pay range $18.00–$19.00 per hour. Benefits are available through Oakmont Management Group and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer one (1) year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
