Job summary

Ivy Park at Monterey is seeking a full-time Medication Technician to oversee the administration of medications to residents. The role includes preparing and distributing medication, coordinating services, and maintaining accurate records.

Applicants should have experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly and possess strong teamwork and communication skills. The position offers a pay range of $17.50-$19.50 per hour and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience assisting with medication in an RCFE preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of training/certification may be required based on state regulation.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication records.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers.
