Country Meadows/Ecumenical is hiring a Medication Technician to provide compassionate medication management in a home‑like setting. You will engage with residents, administer medications, monitor treatments, and support overall well‑being while building relationships with residents.

We offer on‑the‑job training, direct supervisor access, and competitive hourly pay starting at $18.50 with opportunities to earn more based on experience.

Qualifications

• Prior direct-care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English while ensuring patient safety.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, administer medications and treatments, monitor well‑being and comfort.
• Provide social and emotional support while encouraging independence.

Medication Technician Responsibilities:

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.

Medication Technician Requirements:

• Prior direct-care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred.
• Highly organized skills.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
