Job summary

Country Meadows in Wyomissing, PA seeks a Medication Technician for a 3pm-11pm, full-time shift (schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday). Pay starts at $18.50/hour, with opportunities to earn more based on experience.

Responsibilities include administering medications, providing social and emotional support to residents, and maintaining an organized medication cart. Requires direct-care experience, high school diploma or GED, and CPR/first aid preferred.

• Engage with residents, administer medications and treatments, monitor well‑being and comfort.

• Assist residents with daily routines (bathing, dressing, toileting) as needed.

Medication Technician Responsibilities:

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
• Help our residents live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines (Bathing, Dressing, Toileting) throughout their day.

Medication Technician Requirements:

• Prior direct-care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR and first aid preferred.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred.
• Highly organized skills.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
