Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Wyomissing, PA, is seeking a Medication Technician with direct-care experience to join our home-like setting and support resident health through medication administration, observation, and compassionate daily interactions.

The FT 3pm-11pm role includes engaging with residents, managing the medication cart, aiding with daily routines, and contributing to a positive, meaningful environment; we offer competitive pay, benefits, and on-going training.

Qualifications

• Prior direct-care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR and first aid preferred.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred.
• Highly organized skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
• Help our residents live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines (Bathing, Dressing, Toileting) throughout their day.

In this role, you will manage medications with our residents in a home-like setting, while forming relationships with them and contributing to their overall health.

Current Opportunities:

3pm-11pm FT (schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday)

Pay starts at $18.50/hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience
