Belmont Village Senior Living in Sunnyvale is seeking a Medication Technician to assist residents with daily medications, monitor responses, and maintain accurate electronic medical records under the supervision of a licensed Nurse.

You will support licensed nurses with administrative tasks, excel in a fast-paced, physically active role, and demonstrate empathy and hospitality while helping seniors thrive as they age.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide personal care per physician orders and guidelines for ADL care as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and observe responses or side effects.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure highest quality care and services are provided.
• Adhere to infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.
