Job summary

The Summit of Lakewood Ranch is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to administer medications and support residents with daily living activities, promoting dignity and independence. This role requires a state-certified Medication Aide, English proficiency, and availability to work 6:00am–2:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must maintain state-required medication aide certification.
• Ability to read and follow physician orders.
• Experience in assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer or supervise the administration of medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Document medications accurately on the MAR and review before shift end.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Maintain medication cart security and perform narcotic counts.
• Coordinate with wellness staff to plan staffing and on-call coverage.
