Job summary

The Summit of Lakewood Ranch, managed by Grace Management, Inc., seeks a part-time Medication Technician for 6:00am–2:00pm on-site coverage. The role focuses on safe medication administration, resident care, and shift coordination to support a 100% occupancy community.

Responsibilities include MAR documentation, timely meds administration, and collaboration with Wellness Director and staff. Candidates should have a state-required medication aide certification and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer or supervise medications following physician orders and MAR.
• Document medications administered and ensure accuracy at shift end.
• Monitor residents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain medication security and perform narcotic counts as required.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborate with wellness staff to plan and cover shifts.
