Job summary

The Summit of Coralville is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with safe medication administration, daily living activities, and wellness scheduling in a compassionate, team-oriented setting.

On-site roles include full-time and part-time shifts with weekend/holiday requirements. Benefits include PTO, daily pay, 401K with employer match, disability coverage, referral bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Must maintain state-required medication aide certification where applicable.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Good physical health with ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medications safely and accurately per MAR.
• Document medications in MAR and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain security of medication cart and narcotic keys.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Collaborate with wellness staff and participate in on-call rotations.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and follow safety protocols.
