Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Wilmington, NC seeks a dedicated Medication Technician (CNA) for full-time day shifts at Bradley Creek Health Center. You will administer medications, document orders, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate care for residents.

The role requires a valid CNA, or completion of the 75-hour course with a medication administration certificate, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide or 75-hour course plus medication administration course.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly or at least ten times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication administration for residents.
• Takes, documents, and administers medications.
• Performs nursing care duties, such as taking vital signs and basic procedures.
• Maintains safety through universal precautions and hazardous chemical handling.
• Communicates with physicians and other health care professionals as needed.
• Monitors resident status and reports changes to doctor, family, and administration.
