Charter Senior Living Southern Pines Senior Living Community – Thomasville, GA is seeking an Overnight Medication Technician to support residents with medications and daily living activities.

Qualified candidates hold Georgia Medication Technician and CNA licenses, with overnight shift availability (7p-7a) and rotating weekends. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow with a caring, patient-focused team.

Responsibilities

Full-Time | Rotating Weekends Required

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Georgia Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification in good standing

• Current Georgia CNA license

• Previous assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience preferred

• Ability to work overnight shifts (7p-7a)

• Must be able to work rotating weekends

Position Summary

The Medication Technician / Med Tech plays a vital role in supporting the health, wellness, and quality of life of residents within our Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities.

This position is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication administration and management, implementation of resident care plans, clinical documentation, and communication with nursing and caregiving teams.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about serving seniors with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff

• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation

• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans

• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures

• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment
