Charter Senior Living in Poquoson, VA is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician / Med Tech to support residents in assisted living and memory care. You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with nursing staff to promote dignity and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a current Med Tech certification as required by state regulations, with prior experience in senior living.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Med Tech certification as required by state regulations.
• Prior assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience preferred.
• CNA, caregiver, or direct care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Medication Technician / Med Tech plays a vital role in supporting the health, wellness, and quality of life of residents within our Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities.

This position is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication administration and management, implementation of resident care plans, clinical documentation, and communication with nursing and caregiving teams.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about serving seniors with dignity and respect.
