Job summary

Charter Senior Living is seeking an Overnight Medication Technician in Thomasville, GA to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain residents’ dignity and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds Georgia Med Tech certification and CNA license, can work 7p–7a, and rotate weekends. We offer paid training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current State of Georgia Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification in good standing.
• Current Georgia CNA license.
• Overnight availability for 7p-7a shifts.
• Ability to work rotating weekends.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures
• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families

Full-Time | Rotating Weekends Required

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Georgia Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification in good standing

• Previous assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts (7p-7a)

Position Summary

The Medication Technician / Med Tech plays a vital role in supporting the health, wellness, and quality of life of residents within our Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities.

This position is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication administration and management, implementation of resident care plans, clinical documentation, and communication with nursing and caregiving teams.
