Job summary

Tarina of Cypresswood, a Saga Senior Living community, is hiring a part-time Medication Technician in Spring, TX. You will safely administer prescribed medications, maintain accurate records, and support residents with daily activities in a compassionate, patient manner.

Schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with $14.50–$15.00 per hour plus credit for experience; applicants must be 18+, have at least 2 years of senior caregiving experience, and hold the required medication

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 required.
• Minimum 2 years of senior caregiving experience; medication technician certification/training required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate medication records, monitor for side effects or changes in residents' health, and promptly report any concerns to licensed nursing staff
• Deliver attentive, resident-focused care with daily routines including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment while encouraging independence and preserving each resident's dignity
• Provide additional support for residents with higher care needs, using a calm, patient approach to foster engagement and emotional well-being
