Job summary

Pomeroy Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our assisted living community. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to ensure residents receive their treatments safely and accurately, supporting daily activities and comfort.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, documenting in EMR, and assisting with meals and general care to maintain a high standard of wellness and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a Medication Technician.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, breathing treatments, and skin care as prescribed.
• Track vitals, weights, and blood sugar; report status changes to Wellness Director.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in EMR and daily logs.
• Manage pharmacy deliveries, restock med carts, and ensure infection control standards.
• Assist with resident meals and general care duties to ensure a seamless community experience.
