Job summary

Premier Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication administration and daily living support for residents in our NY communities. This role involves accurate documentation, observation of resident conditions, and assisting with activities of daily living under supervision.

Qualifications

• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.
• Pass health requirements including TB and immunizations.
• Pass background check and random drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medications with the use of company chosen software to document resident electronic records.
• Assist residents with all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Observe and record resident's condition
• Provide help with resident transferring in and out of bed
• Clean rooms and change linens
• Deliver message, greet and direct visitors, answer phones
• Support PSL service goals to all our Residents
• Have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

Position Summary

Medication Technicians assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Wellness Director. Duties also include providing assistance with activities of daily living to our residents.
