Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for The Barclay House of Augusta to ensure resident well-being and accurate medication administration. You will document health changes, assist with dining and activities, and maintain precise medication records within a compassionate care environment.

Applicants should hold a state Medication Technician license and a CNA license, be flexible for weekends/holidays, and bring CPR/First Aid if possible. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant License issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for The Barclay House of Augusta

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.Barclay House standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed
• Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant License issued by the state
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
