Parmer Woods at North Austin Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech (CMA) to assist with medication administration for residents. The role requires state CMA certification and at least six months of experience with older adults.

Formación

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) required according to state certification requirements.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience with older adults preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with medication administration per physicians' orders and state requirements.
• Communicate with residents and staff to ensure safe medication practices.
• Maintain accurate medication records and observe for adverse effects.

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required)
• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Responsible for medication assistance or administration of medications, according to the state requirements and written physicians’ orders.
