Glenwood Village of Overland Park Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech to support residents with safe medication administration and daily care. You will follow physician orders, document accurately, and collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure high-quality service.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification, has at least six months of experience with older adults, and communicates clearly in English.

Formación

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification is required.
• Six months of relevant experience with older adults preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Medication assistance or administration must align with state requirements and physicians’ orders.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with or administer medications as prescribed.
• Communicate with residents and staff to ensure safe medication administration.
• Support residents with daily activities and ensure compassionate care.

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required)
• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Responsible for medication assistance or administration of medications, according to the state requirements and written physicians’ orders.
