Tucson Place Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech to support medication administration and resident well-being. You’ll work under state requirements, ensuring accuracy and safety in daily medication tasks.

Ideal candidates are caring, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong English communication to connect with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required by state
• Minimum of six months’ relevant experience with older adults preferred
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist or administer medications as prescribed by physicians and per state rules
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure safe medication use
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required)
• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Responsible for medication assistance or administration of medications, according to the state requirements and written physicians’ orders.
