Job summary

Whispering Winds of Apple Valley Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech to assist with medication administration and resident care. The role requires CMA certification and at least six months of experience with older adults, plus strong communication in English to coordinate with staff and residents.

The position emphasizes compassionate, organized care, ability to multi-task, and adherence to state requirements.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet state certification requirements.
• Minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience with older adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Caring, organized, and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration or medication assistance per physicians' orders.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Maintain accuracy and organization in medication records and schedules.

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required)
• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)

The salary range for this position is $17.00 to $18.50.
