Inspired Living at Sun City Center is seeking a dependable Med Tech to support residents with medication management, personal care, and daily activities at our Sun City Center, FL community. You will follow physician orders and MARs, document care, and communicate health changes to the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year caregiving or similar experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• At least 6 months supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred/required.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to MARs.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults.
• Dependable, team-oriented and committed to doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and personal care per each resident's service plan and orders.
• Safely administer medications and follow MAR instructions.
• Observe and communicate changes to clinical team, families, and professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Med Techs and care team for high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and provide direction to team members during shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain required state certifications and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and identify ways to improve resident care.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents and teammates.

At Inspired Living, our Med Techs play an important role in helping residents live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. We're looking for a dependable, compassionate team member who is ready to make a difference while supporting exceptional resident care.

We are currently hiring for our Inspired Living at Sun City Center senior living community in Sun City Center, FL.

What You'll Do

• Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and accurately follow the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate clinical team members, families, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other Med Techs and care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and provide direction to team members during assigned shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain all required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and help identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and teammates.
