Job summary

Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a dependable Med Tech to support resident care, medication management, and daily living activities. You will work with a compassionate team to follow physician orders and MARs, ensuring safe, dignified care for seniors.

You will read orders, document care, and communicate changes to the care team, families, and medical professionals, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and state certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HHA certification or CNA license required or in progress.
• At least 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
• Supervisory experience in health-related field preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and personal care per resident service plan and orders.
• Safely administer medications and follow MAR instructions.
• Observe changes and communicate with clinical team and families.
• Maintain documentation and comply with HIPAA, safety and regulations.
• Assist with meals and support dining environment.
• Support team during shifts and supervise as needed.
• Maintain state certifications and ongoing education.
• Contribute to quality improvement and safe resident care.

At Inspired Living, our Med Techs play an important role in helping residents live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. We're looking for a dependable, compassionate team member who is ready to make a difference while supporting exceptional resident care.

We are currently hiring for our Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch senior living community in Bradenton, FL.

What You'll Do

• Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and accurately follow the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate clinical team members, families, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other Med Techs and care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and provide direction to team members during assigned shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain all required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and help identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and teammates.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred/required.
• Ability to accurately read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for caring for older adults.
