Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year caregiving or similar experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• 6+ months supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred/required.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults.

Responsabilités

• Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and follow MARs.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the clinical team, families, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other Med Techs and care team members to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving and clearing, maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and direct team members during shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents and teammates.
