Job summary

Wolfeboro Bay is seeking a dedicated Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) to join our caring team in Wolfeboro. The role supports licensed nurses and ensures accurate medication practices in a supportive work environment.

Shifts run 7AM–3PM with a pay range of $23–$29 per hour based on experience and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include healthcare and more for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Medication Aide/MNA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide, preferred.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 35 lbs, etc.).
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administering routine oral, inhalation, and topical medications under nurse supervision.
• Observing residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions and reporting promptly.
• Documenting all medication administration according to facility policies.
• Following written and verbal instructions related to medication management.
• Taking vital signs, performing dose calculations, stocking carts, and removing discontinued medications.
• Storing and handling medications safely and securely.
• Responding to resident needs and assisting with direct care tasks as assigned.

What You’ll Do

As an MNA, you’ll assist licensed nursing staff and help maintain safe, accurate medication practices. Your responsibilities may include:
