Job summary

Wolfeboro Bay is seeking a dedicated Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) to join a per-diem team. You'll assist licensed nursing staff with safe medication practices, take vital signs, calculate doses, stock carts, and help with direct care tasks.

Certification and CPR are required, with 1+ year healthcare experience preferred. Per-diem shifts offer flexibility to pick up as needed, and the facility emphasizes a supportive, inclusive work environment where accuracy and calmness matter for resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Medication Aide / MNA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide, preferred.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 35 lbs, etc.).
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administering routine oral, inhalation, and topical medications under nurse supervision.
• Observing residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions and reporting promptly.
• Documenting all medication administration according to facility policies.
• Following written and verbal instructions related to medication management.
• Taking vital signs, performing dose calculations, stocking carts, and removing discontinued medications.
• Storing and handling medications safely and securely.
• Responding to resident needs and assisting with direct care tasks as assigned.

Compensation: $24 - $29 based on experience

What You'll Do
