Job summary

Wolfeboro Bay Center is seeking a dedicated Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) to join our caregiving team in a supportive environment. You will assist licensed nursing staff and ensure safe medication practices, contributing to high-quality resident care.

Flexible shifts and a per-diem style schedule are available, with a focus on accuracy, attentiveness, and calm patient interaction to maintain safety and comfort for residents daily.

Qualifications

• Must have basic medical terminology knowledge.
• Experience delivering patient care and medication assistance.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation and dosing.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under nurse supervision (oral, inhalation, topical).
• Observe residents for changes or adverse reactions and report promptly.
• Document all medication administration per facility policies.
• Follow written and verbal medication instructions.
• Take vitals, perform dose calculations, stock carts, remove discontinued meds.
• Store and handle medications safely and securely.
• Assist with direct care tasks as assigned.

Join Our Team as a Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA)

Wolfeboro Bay is looking to add dedicated and caring Medication Nurse Assistants (MNAs) to our team. If you are passionate about providing excellent care and want to be part of a supportive work environment, we want to hear from you!

Available Shifts: Per-diem team members have the flexibility to pick up shifts as needed

Compensation: $24 - $29 based on experience

What You’ll Do

As an MNA, you’ll assist licensed nursing staff and help maintain safe, accurate medication practices. Your responsibilities may include:

• Administering routine oral, inhalation, and topical medications under nurse supervision

• Observing residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions and reporting promptly

• Documenting all medication administration according to facility policies

• Following written and verbal instructions related to medication management

• Taking vital signs, performing dose calculations, stocking carts, and removing discontinued medications

• Storing and handling medications safely and securely

• Responding to resident needs and assisting with direct care tasks as assigned

Your accuracy, attentiveness, and calm presence help ensure residents receive safe, consistent care every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current Medication Aide/MNA certification

• CPR certification

• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide, preferred

• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology

• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 35 lbs, etc.)

• Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays
