Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Medication History Technician to assist in compiling pre-admission medication lists for inpatient and observation patients. You will consult patients, families, and health-care partners, document findings in the EHR, and coordinate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, upholding Baptist Health values.
This role requires an active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician Permit, at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (2 years preferred), and minimum college
The Medication History Technician (MHT) assists with compiling pre-admission medication lists for inpatient and observation patients by consulting patients, family members, caregivers, pharmacies, long term care facilities, and physician offices. The MHT documents findings in the electronic health record and coordinates with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, while maintaining professional interactions consistent with Baptist Health values.
