Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician licensing and certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough interviews to obtain a complete medication list for inpatient admissions.
• Review medical records and coordinate with outpatient pharmacies to verify information.
• Input medication history into EMR or pharmacy system accurately and keep it up to date.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies to the pharmacist for resolution.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with general pharmacy technician duties.
• Perform regular cycle counts to support inventory management.
