Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a Medication Courier to provide timely delivery of medications and materials within Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. You will distribute pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and correspondence under the supervision of a pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician Supervisor.

Summary: The Medication Courier assists in providing pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Health Care System and the community we serve by timely delivery of medications. They are responsible for prompt, accurate delivery and distribution of a variety of materials including pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and/or correspondence throughout Cook Children's Medical Center in accordance with department requirements. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and/or an experienced pharmacist.
Education & Experience: High School graduate or equivalent with demonstrated ability to read and write are required.
Good telephone skills and good oral communication skills are required.
A general knowledge of office procedures such as filing and record keeping is essential.
Certification/Licensure: Technician trainee registration within 90 days of employment.
Technician trainee registration is active for up to two years; after this period technician registration is required by the state of Texas.
