Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Colorado is hiring a Medication Aide/Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for our residents. You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents during and after passes.

We seek a high school graduate with Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid, strong documentation and communication skills, and a preference for senior care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
