Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Colorado is hiring a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely and with dignity. You will follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR, monitor residents, and report concerns promptly, all while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
