Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure safe, accurate medication care for residents. You will administer medications per physician orders, observe residents during passes, and document in MAR/TAR in real time with professionalism and compassion.

Required are a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
