Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks a Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure safe, accurate medication delivery for residents. You will administer according to orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents during and after passes to uphold safety and quality of care.

You must have Medication Administration certification and CPR/First Aid, plus a High School Diploma or GED; strong documentation and communication skills are essential, with senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
