Job summary

Good Samaritan is hiring a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered care under a charge nurse's supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, document care, and support medication administration as delegated within state regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, mobility, and participating in wellness programs while maintaining a clean, safe living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 preferred.
• State CMA/TMA certification requirements per location.
• Completion of competency testing and annual continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs, document care outcomes, and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, eating, mobility, and range-of-motion activities.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and maintain a clean living environment.
