Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant to join our team in Greenwood, IN. You will provide medication reminders and administer medications according to state guidelines, while maintaining accurate digital records and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure resident safety and comfort.

The role requires strong communication, compassion, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic care setting; weekend/evening shifts may be required, with a full benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with related experience preferred.
• Certification for medications as required by state guidelines must be obtained.
• First Aid and CPR certification may be required by state law or company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and/ or assistance per state regulations.
• Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order and receive medications; ensure availability and coordinate with pharmacy.
• Maintain residents' records in our digital platform daily, including incidents and observations.
• Perform room visits and checks; assist with resident care as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for assistance and emergencies.
• Monitor resident safety and notify Director of Health and Wellness or on-duty nurse.
