Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1-year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA for the elderly (experience may depend on state requirements)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
• Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Complete Medication Aide training and certification as required by state

Essential Functions

• Provide medication assistance in accordance with regulations and policies
• Maintain medication cart and storage room in order
• Ensure accurate medication counts and security
• Assist residents with daily activities as needed
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities
• Respond promptly to resident needs
• Uphold Residents' Rights and company policies
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions
• Complete documentation accurately and timely
• Assist during meal times and with activities to promote self-expression
