Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Oncology Group in Pensacola, FL seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support clinical operations. The role requires Florida licensure preference, and a High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.

• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Renewing authorizations and obtaining new authorizations for commercially insured patients.
• Communicate with pharmaceutical companies to obtain approvals.
• Process paperwork and maintain computerized patient/program records.
• Reconcile Medicaid and third-party insurance payments.
