Job summary

The SR Companies seeks a dedicated Med-Tech to enhance the SRIM experience for residents and families in our Heartful Care community in Florida. You will supervise self-administration of medication, assist with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, and laundry while encouraging independence with empathy and respect.

You will communicate with residents at all levels of care, observe health changes, participate in leisure activities, maintain a safe environment, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related healthcare experience or training.
• Medicine Technician (Med-Tech) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADL's, meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry while encouraging resident independence.
• Speaks to/interacts with residents at all levels of care constantly, with empathy and respect.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health and emotional well-being to supervisor.
• Serves and assists residents in dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents at all times.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and attends trainings/mandatory meetings.
