• Must possess high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide per state requirements.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Follow facility policies governing medication administration.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral/topical medications accurately.
• Verify resident identity before administering medications.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and document all relevant entries.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and facility surveys.
• Cooperate with nursing, pharmacy, and physician teams to ensure safe medication practices.
