Job summary

The Kensington in Hastings, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a dependable Medication Aide on an on-call basis to support residents in a caring, dignified environment. In this role you will safely administer medications per physician orders, document accurately, monitor residents, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Aide certification meeting Nebraska requirements.
• Compassionate, dependable and comfortable with older adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a care team.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Provide compassionate, attentive support to residents throughout your shift.
• Work closely with the care team to provide consistent, quality care.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for residents.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Medication Aide certification that meets Nebraska requirements.
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with older adults.
