Job summary

The Kensington in Hastings, NE is seeking a dependable Medication Aide on an on-call basis to join our Agemark Senior Living community. You’ll administer medications, document care, and support residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Aide certification valid in Nebraska.

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Provide compassionate, attentive support to residents throughout your shift.
• Work closely with the care team to provide consistent, quality care.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for residents.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Medication Aide certification that meets Nebraska requirements.
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with older adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
