Job summary

CountryHouse Residence in Elkhorn, NE, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking compassionate Medication Aides for full-time evenings and part-time overnights. You will safely dispense medications, keep meticulous records, and monitor resident health while assisting with daily care and building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current active 40-hour Medication Aide certification.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with seniors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medication Support – Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
• Maintain Accurate Records – Document medication administration and keep resident records up to date.
• Monitor Resident Well-Being – Observe for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
• Assist with Daily Care – Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build Meaningful Connections – Develop positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
