Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance at the GSS KS Hays Ctr in Hays, KS. You will work PRN with a focus on compassionate care and teamwork in a 45-bed facility.

The role requires CMA/CNA certification where applicable, with ongoing education and compliance with state requirements. Benefits and daily earnings access are offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 18 preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• Maintains required certifications and completes annual competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care and communication with charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, mobility, and range of motion.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and assist with dining and daily activities.
